The Rocanda Grid Map is a dataset of 23 million points which contain all possible Legal SubDivisions, the ENTIRE BC NTS grid and the most up to date road network for Canada with Garmin's MetroGuide Canada v5. No other map provides this high level of data. In case you just bought a brand new Nuvi or any other type of Garmin Gps you will definitely be pleased with the additional road detail that our map provides. The grid map allows you to find any oil well both present and new as all the coordinates are there for you to have for life. The map is stored on a 2 Gigabyte micro SD card that comes with an SD card adapter so you can fit it in any Garmin GPS. Please be aware that our map finds LSDs and BC NTS coordinates INSTANTLY. There are other maps on the market that claim to find LSDs but they are so slow that you can literally be waiting ten minutes for it to be found. Keep this in mind when you are making your decision which map to purchase....If you don't believe us we will show you a demo at our storefront.

We developed this Grid map because we realized that MetroGuide Canada v5 is the best possible map out there for Canadians working in the rural areas. It even has the Anthony Henday in Edmonton. Something none of the other Garmin maps have! MetroGuide Canada contains over 900,000 points of interest, addresses for the whole of Canada and detailed coverage of the waterways throughout the country.

Garmin does over $3 billion in sales and their main money maker is automotive mapping. If anyone tells you that they have a more detailed map for a Garmin unit than Garmin, I would seriously question anything else they say..

To make things dead simple we provide you with an SD/micro SD card that plus into your GPS. All you need to do is insert the card into the unit, enable either the LSD map or the BC NTS map in addition to the MetroGuide Canada v5 map and you are good to go. If you dont want to see the LSDs as you are in the city, simply turn off that layer of the map.
